Starlite Far East (09/24)
Sep 24, 2020Malaysia Day commemorates 16 September 1963, when the former British colony of Singapore and the East Malaysian states of Sabah and Sarawak, joined the Federation of Malaya to create the Malaysian Federation. Singapore only remained in the federation for two years, leaving on 9 August 1965.
This year's Malaysia Day celebration is about Malaysians coming together as one, especially in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. Our management at SPM encourages its’ employees to voluntarily come up with various initiatives to celebrate Malaysia Day to cultivate the spirit of patriotism, unity and love for our country.
